From different vantage points on the park the following landmarks may be clearly seen. To the south are the beaches of Whitsand Bay. The marker buoys for HMS Sycilla. The Eddison Lighthouse. To the west is Bodmin Moor. Tregantle Fort. The Cornish coastline to Downderry , Looe and beyond. Cornish dairy farmland

To the north is the city of Plymouth (spectacular at night) The Tamar Estuary. Cornish valley farms . The Tamar Bridge . Dartmoor National Park . Millbrook village .
